How to draw Chibi Ichigo
A few days ago I got a bleach chibi keychain. The character on the keychain is Ichigo and everyone thinks it's adorable. Since I'd always wanted to make a how to draw chibi tutorial on bleach, I decided to make this particular keychain the basis of the tutorial. At first I was a bit hesitant to make this how to draw chibi bleach character tutorial since the images, especially for this particular tutorial, would really take a huge toll on my monthly bandwidth. So I hope you'll all understand why I limit the how to draw chibi images for my tutorials to a maximum of 25 except for the first one.
Bleach is one of the most popular animes to be released recently and a lot of people have argued whether naruto or bleach is better. I say who cares! they're both good! Oh and before we start let me all remind you that I drew this chibi using flash 8 but you can still draw this by hand if you want to. If you prefer using flash then you need to know the basics of flash to be able to draw this.
How to draw Chibi Ichigo
Step 1. The first thing we do is to know how to draw ichigo's chibi head. Draw a big circle for his head and make three lines like the first image below. Curve the lines and carefully connect them to the big circle. After that we need to draw the eyes. make four lines like the fourth image below and curve it slightly to form the eyes.
Step 2. Draw ichigo's eyeballs by making a circle above each upper eyelid. Also draw a line below the chin to form the mouth. Making ichigo's hair is a bit difficult but don't worry. Just try to follow the third image and you'll be fine. When you're done with the hair cut out or erase all the lines inside it. If you're using flash, you just have to grab the lines inside the hair and press the delete key. If you're drawing by hand then use an eraser. Your chibi should look like the fourth image below when your done.
Step 3. We now need to add colors to the skin, hair and eyes. Also make ichigo's eyes look real by adding shine. Draw two circles inside each eye making the upper circle bigger than the lower one. Close the gaps to seperate the lower and upper eye to be able to fill the upper eye with black. Refer to the second image. Fill the lower part of the cornea with brown, ichigo's hair with dark orange and his face with tan or something lighter than tan. Make curved lines to make the eyes whole and fill it in with white. Erase or delete the lines afterwards. Chibi ichigo is almost done all we need now it to draw his body and add shading.
